Machida is a Japanese-Brazilian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who fights as a light heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Evans is an American mixed martial arts fighter from Lansing, MI currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship where he is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. After his first and very brutal loss Evans is not taking it easy. Griffen is an American mixed martial artist currently fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Coming off of a debilitating loss to Rashad Evans in December, most fighters would've looked for an easy fight. Griffin initially was tabbed to meet Brazilian Thiago Silva at UFC 101.
