Champions League Betting: Dynamo Kyiv vs. Inter Milan

Dynamo Kyiv enter their clash against Inter Milan on matchday 4 with a decided edge, sitting in second place in Group F and level on points with group leaders Barcelona. Dynamo are closer to advancing into the knockout stages after settling on a 2:2 draw at the Meazza a fortnight ago. And they will be looking to take another step forward, this time a bigger step, by taking all three points at the expense of Inter Milan.
Inter Milan are struggling something awful in Champions League. They have not won a top-flight European match in over a year and after three cycles on the new season and still going without a win their backs are against the wall. More expressly, Mourinho’s back. Surely, if Inter fail to win this match it will be the end of his career at Inter’s helm.

Soccer Betting Verdict: The Ukrainian outfit has several things going for them in this match. Firstly, their campaign is alive and kicking and they are in the race for a spot in the knockout stages of the most prestigious club competition in the world. Secondly, they played exceptionally well against Inter on matchday 3 and were rather unfortunate to be denied the victory. Thirdly, they have the winter on their side and under which they are used to playing.
Not so for the continentally acclimatized Italians who will more likely than not struggle with the freezing temperatures after coming from the mild weather in Milan. That is on top of their other woes, which includes a 12-month winning drought and counting. Yet, in spite of all struggles and woes that are plaguing Inter on the European front –and keep in mind we have had a preview of their game against all three clubs in their section – the market goes ahead and tips them short to Dynamo at +115. Are we to infer Inter is going to end a 12-month winning drought in the freezing recesses of Ukraine. Seriously?
That Inter is favoured in this match is frankly outrageous and there is absolutely nothing tangible to support the market cast. The bookies must have this totally wrong. But that in itself is good news for Dynamo supporters because at +240 Dynamo are a right tempting bet for the win. And damn worth the risk.
