College Football Betting Tips - OVER Power Poll
by Mike Rose

The College Football Betting season is heading into its ninth week of play, check out how BetUS stacks up the best ‘over’ teams in the country through eight weeks…
1: North Texas Mean Green (6-1) (LW: 3) After allowing 697 yards of offense to the Trojans, is there any doubt that the Mean Green are the best 'over' team in the country? Even without starting QB Riley Dodge, North Texas put up 395 yards and 26 points of their own. College football point spreads are starting to become incredibly difficult to figure out for the oddsmakers, as the Mean Green have averaged 68.5 total points per game since beating Ball State 20-10 in Week 1. They're also 0-6 in that stretch.
Up Next: Home vs. Western Kentucky
2: North Carolina State Wolfpack (6-1) (LW: 2) The Wolfpack took a week off last week, but they'll try to keep their 'over' roll going next weekend against a Florida State team that has done a ton for 'over' bettors as well of late.
Up Next: Away @ Florida State
3: Duke Blue Devils (5-1) (LW: 1) Duke played one of its best defensive games of the season against Maryland, and the end result was the first 'under' game that it has played this season. The Blue Devils don't have anything to fret about at 4-3, especially since the offense still ranks 6th in the nation in passing at 322.6 yards per game and 41st in points at 29.7 per game.
Up Next: Away @ Virginia
4: Florida State Seminoles (5-2) (LW: 7) Give it up for QB Christian Ponder, who led his Noles back from a seemingly insurmountable 24-6 deficit to post a huge victory. The garnet and gold scored three second half touchdowns, and in the process, pushed yet another game past the number for HC Bobby Bowden's boys.
Up Next: Home vs. North Carolina State
5: Toledo Rockets (6-2) (LW: 8) Toledo's offense had a lot of reasons to not play well without its starting quarterback, but there was no excuse for the defense to be so bad against the Owls. Temple held the ball for over 36 minutes of action and put a whopping 40 points on the board in the Glass Bowl. The Rockets have a lot of questions to answer defensively after allowing 30+ points in all but one of their games this year.
Up Next: Away @ Miami (OH)
6: Florida International Golden Panthers (5-2) (LW: 6) FIU's offense couldn't get a thing going offensively against Arkansas State on Saturday afternoon. They only mustered 223 yards, 191 of which came through the air. It also didn't help that the Red Wolves dominated the clock the whole game by chewing up a ton of yards on the ground.
Up Next: Home vs. Louisiana-Lafayette
7: California Golden Bears (5-2) (LW: 9) Thanks to four first quarter touchdowns, 'over' bettors didn't have anything to sweat about in Cal's 49-17 victory over Washington State on Saturday night. Against unranked opponents this year, the 'over' has cashed in all five Cal games. There is only one ranked team left on the schedule from here on out.
Up Next: Away @ Arizona State
8: Rice Owls (5-2) (LW: 11) Boy is your defense bad, Rice. The Owls conceded 49 points to UCF on Saturday afternoon. Yes, this is the same UCF team that ranked dead last in the nation last year in total offense. The Knights rolled off 465 yards of offense in a game that coasted past the number. It's going to be hard for oddsmakers to pick numbers in Rice games if the defense continues to play this poorly.
Up Next: Bye
And the rest…
9: Kansas Jayhawks (4-2) (LW: 5)
10: Texas A&M Aggies (5-2) (LW: NR)
11: South Florida Bulls (4-2) (LW: NR)
12: San Jose State Spartans (4-2) (LW: 15)
13: West Virginia Mountaineers (4-2) (LW: NR)
14: Indiana Hoosiers (4-2-1) (LW: NR)
15: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (5-2) (LW: NR)
