College Football Betting - Best OVER Teams for Week 6
by Mike Rose

Now that the college football betting season is heading into its sixth week of play, check out how BetUS stacks up the best ‘over’ teams in the country through five weeks…
1: West Virginia Mountaineers (3-0) (LW: 2) The Mountaineers' offense keeps on keeping on. They rolled up 30+ points for the fourth straight game to kick off the season last week when they pounded the Buffs 35-24, and now take their show on to the turf of the Carrier Dome.
Up Next: Away @ Syracuse
2: Duke Blue Devils (4-0) (LW: 4) The Dookies hung in there with a formidable Virginia Tech foe every step of the way last Saturday, and as a result, they picked up a well-deserved cover and an easy victory for 'over' bettors. QB Thaddeus Lewis may be one of the best in the ACC, as he's thrown for 1,142 yards and seven TDs already this season.
Up Next: Away @ North Carolina State
3: Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1) (LW: 8) Considering just how good Alabama's defense is, it's really unfair that its offense has scored at least 34 points in every game that it has played this year. How many other teams in the country can say that they rank 8th in points scored and 2nd in total defense? There's a reason that the Tide may be the most impressive looking team in the land so far.
Up Next: Away @ Mississippi
4: Auburn Tigers (4-1) (LW: 1) Had the refs let Tennessee kick the extra point on their touchdown scored on the final play of the game, Auburn would still be amongst the perfect teams in the country in terms of 'over' bettors. As it is, the Tigers racked up 459 yards and 26 points against a stout Vols' defense that held down mighty Florida.
Up Next: Away @ Arkansas
5: Wisconsin Badgers (4-1) (LW: 10) Bucky the Badger loves this one! Does anyone realize that Wisky is averaging 35.0 points per game this season? Granted, the Badgers really haven't played anyone yet, but that's all changing this week with a trip to the Horseshoe. If they can put up 28+ points for the sixth straight week to start the season, it'll be very, very impressive.
Up Next: Away @ Ohio State
6: Michigan State Spartans (3-1) (LW: 3) Not only did Michigan State play an 'under' game for the first time all season when the Wolverines came to town, but it did so with some overtime as well. It was clearly the best game against an FBS opponent for HC Mark D'Antonio's defense this year, and the Spartans will need more of that if they hope to succeed in the Big Ten.
Up Next: Away @ Illinois
7: Toledo Rockets (4-1) (LW: 11) Toledo's average game this year has reached a very impressive 70.4 points per game. That's great news for an offense that’s averaging 474.4 yards per game, but not so great news for a defense that is averaging allowing 438.0 yards per game.
Up Next: Home vs. Western Michigan
8: North Carolina State Wolfpack (4-1) (LW: 13) Without a doubt, the efficiency of QB Russell Wilson has kept the Wolfpack playing a ton of 'over' contests. He set an NCAA record by throwing 379 passes without getting one picked off before that streak came to an end last weekend. The Dookies will be hard pressed to force the sophomore into many mistakes this week.
Up Next: Home vs. Duke
And the rest…
9: Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-1) (LW: NR)
10: Utah State Aggies (2-1-1) (LW: 5)
11: North Texas Mean Green (3-1) (LW: NR)
12: UNLV Rebels (3-1) (LW: NR)
13: Florida International Golden Panthers (3-1) (LW: NR)
14: Virginia Cavaliers (2-1) (LW: 6)
15: California Golden Bears (3-2) (LW: 7)
